As a writer, I specialize in outdoors and natural resource writing as well as people profiles, business, general interest, travel, energy, and human-interest stories. In addition, I produce brochure and Web copy, press releases, and provide copywriter services.

Some of my credentials include memberships in the Outdoor Writers Association of America, where I currently serve on the Board of Directors, North Dakota Professional Communicators, National Federation of Press Women, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, the Mule Deer Foundation, and others.

I am a OWAA Excellence in Craft award winner and received the 2005 OWAA John Madsen Fellowship for the Wildbranch Nature and Environmental Writing Workshop. A short list of some of my credits include “Women in Pheasants Forever” columnist; Pheasants Forever JOURNAL, Cubs Corner columnist; North American BEAR, North Dakota Outdoors, Dakota Country, AAA Living, Bird Hunting Report, North Dakota LIVING, McLean Electric Cooperative Center Pages, Women in the Outdoors, Wheelin’ Sportsmen, Bismarck Tribune’s Outdoor Journal, North Dakota Chamber of Commerce’s Business Report, and Web site content for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Wildlife Refuges. I also produce the Dakota Recreation Report, an all-seasons weekly outdoor recreation report covering everything from summer fishing and river information to winter cross-country ski and snowmobile trail conditions. In addition, my weekly newspaper feature, Prairie Adventures, appears in 12 BHG newspapers in North Dakota. The Dakota Recreation Report is available for other newspapers and is geared towards each paper’s specific subscriber area. I also create press releases and brochures.

Please enjoy the photography and writing from my world. And, again, welcome.
